In a stunning victory for pro-life advocates everywhere, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) notified abortion facilities on Tuesday that new pro-life rules will take effect. These rules stipulate that any facility receiving federal Title X tax dollars cannot provide abortions or abortion referrals.

For 75 years, InterVarsity has had a student chapter at Wayne State. In 2017, the university’s administration revoked their status, claiming the chapter’s constitution violated the school’s nondiscrimination policy because it requires their leaders to be Christians. 

In a 7-2 decision, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of 40-foot memorial cross in Bladensburg, Maryland. Known as the Bladensburg Peace Cross, this monument was erected in 1925 to honor 49 local men who died in WWI. Funds for this tribute were raised by the families, local businesses and the American Legion.

In yet another disturbing example of the ongoing violence inherent with Islam, the government of Saudi Arabia recently held a mass execution in which 37 people were beheaded and one person was crucified! The Saudi government even went so far as to pin the body and severed head of one individual to a post as a public warning to others.

Some exceedingly disturbing reports are coming out of Nigeria, an African country on the Gulf of Guinea, where Christians are experiencing what is being described as “pure genocide.” Church leaders say that 6,000 people – mostly women and children, – have been murdered by Fulani radicals since January!
